Layla Resto Cazador

An early birth for 2018, this lady arrived several weeks early according to the calendar. The mother falabella Suela la Quilla gave no signs of giving birth so much to our surprise this beautiful dark full grown mare foal stood perky next to her mother in the morning when we entered the stable to feed everyone. A silent and perfect delivery in the middle of the night. This little falabella is our 1st descendant of falabella Azul Resto Cazador. Our jet black Azul in combination with the jet black Suela will hopefully also allow this mare foal to turn black, of which the first black hairs already appear on the head and legs at the time of writing. Her name was therefore not difficult to find: LAYLA, originally an Arab girl's name. The name means "night". The variant Leyla or Leila is an originally Persian name. The meaning is "dark (as the night)", "night", or "dark-haired".
