Welcome to our Guesthouse and get to know our Falabellas at Stal Jaegersrust

In the historic center of Oldeber sale (z/o Friesland) you will find the national monument Villa Vredewoud located in a park garden of 10,000 M2. The guest house of Villa Vredewoud, rebuilt in 2017, is a warm, intimate place for a comfortable stay in and around this picturesque village surrounded by the Frisian Woods, where you can enjoy walking and cycling routes. The village bakery, butcher and supermarket are just around the corner, and a visit to our coach house with Falabella horses is definitely worth it.

The space

Our guesthouse was the former gardeners' home of Villa Vredewoud, and exudes the atmosphere of a forest house surrounded by the centuries-old trees of the park. The use of wooden elements and natural materials creates an atmosphere that wraps around you like a warm coat. It is not big, but equipped with all the comfort needed for a wonderful stay. 

The room is heated by underfloor heating in combination with a wonderful wood stove, a fully equipped kitchen with combi oven and dishwasher, coffee / tea and a basic supply of herbs. Wifi and a smart TV, a combined bathroom with toilet and shower with towels. 
A comfortable electrically adjustable double bed, with bed linen. 
The loft is equipped with 2 mattresses with bed linen and offers the possibility to let 2 children sleep here in consultation 
French doors open from the sitting area to a spacious veranda where the sun provides perhaps the best spot at this location, surrounded by the park-like garden. An oasis of peace and nature, and yet in the middle of the village center.

Access for guests

We welcome our guests to a detached guesthouse in a unique location, which is described as perhaps the most beautiful national monument in south-east Friesland. We also ask for our privacy to be respected, and the Villa is not accessible to guests for this reason. 
In and around the coach house you will meet our friendly Falabella mini horses, who can be visited during the day, but deserve their rest in the evening.

We always try to receive our guests ourselves and to familiarize them with the guesthouse. For questions you can always reach us, the location is large, so sometimes a phone call is more efficient than a search for us at this location.
